manuá¹£yÄs tu tadÄ Å›ÄntÄ
nirvairÄḥ suhá¹›daḥ samÄḥ
yajanti tapasÄ devaá¹
śamena ca damena ca
manuá¹£yÄḥ - human beings; tu - and; tadÄ - then; Å›ÄntÄḥ - peaceful; nirvairÄḥ - free from envy; suhá¹›daḥ - friendly to all; samÄḥ - equipoised; yajanti - they worship; tapasÄ - by the austerity of meditation; devam - the Supreme Personality of Godhead; Å›amena - by controlling the mind; ca - also; damena - by controlling the external senses; ca - and.
In Satya-yuga the Supreme Lord incarnates as a four-armed brahmacÄrÄ« described in the previous verse and personally introduces the process of meditation.
