 Å›areá¹£u - the arrows; hÄ«yamÄneá¹£u - as they became depleted; bhajyamÄneá¹£u - as they became broken; dhanvasu - the bows; Å›astreá¹£u - the missile weapons; kṣīyamÄneá¹£u - as they were used up; muṣṭibhiḥ - with their fists; jahruḥ - they seized; erakÄḥ - cane stalks.
