tapaḥ samÄsthÄya harer agÄd gatim
tataḥ - then; tam - Him; antaḥ - within; há¹›di - his mind; sanniveÅ›ya - placing; gataḥ - going; mahÄ-bhÄgavataḥ - the great devotee; viÅ›ÄlÄm - to BadarikÄÅ›rama; yathÄ - as; upadiá¹£á¹Äm - described; jagat - of the universe; eka - by the only; bandhunÄ - friend; tapaḥ - austerities; samÄsthÄya - properly executing; hareḥ - of the Supreme Lord; agÄt - he attained; gatim - the destination.
