sÄttvikaḥ kÄrako 'saá¹…gÄ«
rÄgÄndho rÄjasaḥ smá¹›taḥ
tÄmasaḥ smá¹›ti-vibhraá¹£á¹o
nirguṇo mad-apÄÅ›rayaḥ
sÄttvikaḥ - in the mode of goodness; kÄrakaḥ - the performer of activities; asaá¹…gÄ« - free from attachment; rÄga-andhaḥ - blinded by personal desire; rÄjasaḥ - the performer in the mode of passion; smá¹›taḥ - is considered; tÄmasaḥ - the performer in the mode of ignorance; smá¹›ti - from remembrance of what is what; vibhraá¹£á¹aḥ - fallen; nirguṇaḥ - transcendental; mat-apÄÅ›rayaḥ - he who has taken shelter of Me.
A transcendental worker performs his activities in strict accordance with the directions of Lord Kṛṣṇa and the Lord’s bona fide representatives. Taking shelter of the Lord’s guidance, such a worker remains transcendental to the material modes of nature.
