Å›rotraá¹ tvag darÅ›anaá¹ ghrÄṇo
jihveti jñÄna-Å›aktayaḥ
vÄk-pÄṇy-upastha-pÄyv-aá¹…ghriḥ
karmÄṇy aá¹…gobhayaá¹ manaḥ

 Å›rotram - the sense of hearing; tvak - the sense of touch, experienced upon the skin; darÅ›anam - sight; ghrÄṇaḥ - smell; jihvÄ - the sense of taste, experienced upon the tongue; iti - thus; jñÄna-Å›aktayaḥ - the knowledge-acquiring senses; vÄk - speech; pÄṇi - the hands; upastha - the genitals; pÄyu - the anus; aá¹…ghriḥ - and the legs; karmÄṇi - the working senses; aá¹…ga - My dear Uddhava; ubhayam - belonging to both these categories; manaḥ - the mind.

Hearing, touch, sight, smell and taste are the five knowledge-acquiring senses, My dear Uddhava, and speech, the hands, the genitals, the anus and the legs constitute the five working senses. The mind belongs to both these categories.
