 tÄn - them; dṛṣṭvÄ - seeing; sÅ«rya - the sun; saá¹…kÄÅ›Än - who rivaled in brilliance; mahÄ-bhÄgavatÄn - the pure devotees of the Lord; ná¹›pa - O King (Vasudeva); yajamÄnaḥ - the performer of the sacrifice (Nimi MahÄrÄja); agnayaḥ - the fires; viprÄḥ - the brÄhmaṇas; sarve - everyone; eva - even; upatasthire - stood in respect.
