 Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; rÄjan - O King; evam - thus; ká¹›ta-praÅ›naḥ - questioned; vasudevena - by Vasudeva; dhÄ«matÄ - the intelligent; prÄ«taḥ - pleased; tam - to him; Äha - spoke; deva-ṛṣiḥ - the sage among the demigods; hareḥ - of Lord Hari; saá¹smÄritaḥ - made to remember; guṇaiḥ - by the qualities.

Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said: O King, Devará¹£i NÄrada was pleased by the questions of the highly intelligent Vasudeva. Because they suggested the transcendental qualities of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, they reminded NÄrada of Lord Kṛṣṇa. Thus NÄrada replied to Vasudeva as follows.
