tasmÄn niyamya á¹£aá¸-vargaá¹
mad-bhÄvena caren muniḥ
viraktaḥ ká¹£udra-kÄmebhyo
labdhvÄtmani sukhaá¹ mahat

 tasmÄt - therefore; niyamya - completely controlling; á¹£aá¹­-vargam - the six senses (sight, hearing, smell, touch, taste and the mind); mat-bhÄvena - by consciousness of Me; caret - should live; muniḥ - the sage; viraktaḥ - detached; ká¹£udra - insignificant; kÄmebhyaḥ - from sense gratification; labdhvÄ - having experienced; Ätmani - in the self; sukham - happiness; mahat - great.

Therefore, completely controlling the five senses and the mind by Kṛṣṇa consciousness, a sage, having experienced spiritual bliss within the self, should live detached from insignificant material sense gratification.
