etÄvÄn yoga Ädiṣṭo
mac-chiá¹£yaiḥ sanakÄdibhiḥ
sarvato mana Äkṛṣya
mayy addhÄveÅ›yate yathÄ

 etÄvÄn - actually this; yogaḥ - yoga system; Ädiṣṭaḥ - instructed; mat-Å›iá¹£yaiḥ - by My devotees; sanaka-Ädibhiḥ - headed by Sanaka-kumÄra; sarvataḥ - from all sides; manaḥ - the mind; Äkṛṣya - withdrawing; mayi - in Me; addhÄ - directly; ÄveÅ›yate - is absorbed; yathÄ - accordingly.


Text

The actual yoga system as taught by My devotees, headed by Sanaka-kumÄra, is simply this: Having withdrawn the mind from all other objects, one should directly and appropriately absorb it in Me.

Purport

The word yathÄ (“accordingly†or “properlyâ€) indicates that like Uddhava one should hear directly from Lord Kṛṣṇa or His bona fide representative and directly (addhÄ) fix the mind in Lord Kṛṣṇa.
