kṛṣṇo 'jÄ«janad ÄtmajÄn
yÄvatya Ätmano bhÄryÄ
amogha-gatir īśvaraḥ
eka-ekasyÄm - in each one of them; daÅ›a daÅ›a - ten each; kṛṣṇaḥ - Kṛṣṇa; ajÄ«janat - begot; Ätma-jÄn - sons; yÄvatyaḥ - as many as; Ätmanaḥ - His; bhÄryÄḥ - wives; amogha - never frustrated; gatiḥ - whose effort; Ä«Å›varaḥ - the Supreme Lord.
The Supreme Lord Kṛṣṇa, whose endeavor never fails, begot ten sons in each of His many wives.
The total number of Lord Kṛṣṇa’s sons was thus 161,080, and He also had a daughter by each wife.
