purÄ - formerly; nÄrada-Å›Äpena - being cursed by NÄrada Muni; vá¹›ká¹£atÄm - the forms of trees; prÄpitau - obtained; madÄt - because of madness; nalakÅ«vara - one of them was NalakÅ«vara; maṇigrÄ«vau - the other was MaṇigrÄ«va; iti - thus; khyÄtau - well known; Å›riyÄ anvitau - very opulent.
