ghÄá¹­ayitvÄrjunÄdibhiḥ
añjasÄ vartayÄm Äsa
dharmaá¹ dharma-sutÄdibhiḥ

 hatvÄ - having killed; ná¹›pÄn - kings; adharmiṣṭhÄn - most irreligious; ghÄtayitvÄ - having them killed; arjuna-Ädibhiḥ - by Arjuna and others; añjasÄ - easily; vartayÄm Äsa - He caused to be carried out; dharmam - the principles of religion; dharma-suta-Ädibhiḥ - by Yudhiṣṭhira (the son of Dharma) and others.


Text

Now that He had killed many wicked kings and engaged devotees such as Arjuna in killing others, the Lord could easily assure the execution of religious principles through the agency of such pious rulers as Yudhiṣṭhira.
