tayoḥ samÄnÄ«ya varÄsanaá¹ mudÄ
niviṣṭayos tatra mahÄtmanos tayoḥ
dadhÄra pÄdÄv avanijya taj jalaá¹
sa-vá¹›nda Ä-brahma punad yad ambu ha

 tayoḥ - for Them; samÄnÄ«ya - bringing; vara - elevated; Äsanam - seats; mudÄ - happily; niviṣṭayoḥ - who took Their seats; tatra - there; mahÄ-Ätmanoḥ - of the greatest of personalities; tayoḥ - of Them; dadhÄra - he took; pÄdau - the feet; avanijya - washing; tat - that; jalam - water; sa - together with; vá¹›ndaḥ - his followers; Ä-brahma - up to Lord BrahmÄ; punat - purifying; yat - which; ambu - water; ha - indeed.

Bali took pleasure in offering Them elevated seats. After They sat down, he washed the feet of the two Supreme Personalities. Then he took that water, which purifies the whole world even up to Lord BrahmÄ, and poured it upon himself and his followers.
