satyaṠkartuṠvraje vibhuḥ
saha-rÄmo vasamÅ› cakre
teá¹£Äá¹ prÄ«tiá¹ sva-lÄ«layÄ

 kṛṣṇaḥ - the Supreme Personality, Kṛṣṇa; brahmaṇaḥ - of Lord BrahmÄ; ÄdeÅ›am - the order; satyam - truthful; kartum - to make; vraje - in VrajabhÅ«mi, Vá¹›ndÄvana; vibhuḥ - the supreme powerful; saha-rÄmaḥ - along with BalarÄma; vasan - residing; cakre - increased; teá¹£Äm - of all the inhabitants of Vá¹›ndÄvana; prÄ«tim - the pleasure; sva-lÄ«layÄ - by His transcendental pastimes.


Text

Thus the Supreme Personality, Kṛṣṇa, along with BalarÄma, lived in VrajabhÅ«mi, Vá¹›ndÄvana, just to substantiate the benediction of BrahmÄ. By exhibiting different pastimes in His childhood, He increased the transcendental pleasure of Nanda and the other inhabitants of Vá¹›ndÄvana.

Thus end the Bhaktivedanta purports of the Tenth Canto, Eighth Chapter, of the ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam, entitled, “Lord Kṛṣṇa Shows the Universal Form Within His Mouth.â€
