ṛṣaya ūcuḥ
astrasya tava vīryasya
má¹›tyor asmÄkam eva ca
yathÄ bhaved vacaḥ satyaá¹
tathÄ rÄma vidhÄ«yatÄm

 á¹›á¹£ayaḥ Å«cuḥ - the sages said; astrasya - of the weapon (the blade of kuÅ›a grass); tava - Your; vÄ«ryasya - potency; má¹›tyoḥ - of the death; asmÄkam - our; eva ca - also; yathÄ - so that; bhavet - may remain; vacaḥ - the words; satyam - true; tathÄ - thus; rÄma - O RÄma; vidhÄ«yatÄm - please arrange.

The sages said: Please see to it, O RÄma, that Your power and that of Your kuÅ›a weapon, as well as our promise and Romahará¹£aṇa’s death, all remain intact.
