iti bruvāṇe govinde
saubha-rāᚭ pratyupasthitaḼ
vasudevam ivānčya
kṛṣṇaṁ cedam uvāca saḥ

 iti - thus; bruvāṇe - saying; govinde - Lord Kṛṣṇa; saubha-rāᚭ - the master of Saubha (Śālva); pratyupasthitaḼ - came forward; vasudevam - Vasudeva, Lord Kṛṣṇa's father; iva - as if; ÄnÄŤya - leading; kṛṣṇam - to Lord Kṛṣṇa; ca - and; idam - this; uvāca - said; saḼ - he.

After Govinda spoke these words, the master of Saubha again appeared, apparently leading Vasudeva before the Lord. Śālva then spoke as follows.
