etad viditvÄ tu bhavÄn
mayÄpovÄhito raṇÄt
upasṛṣṭaḥ pareṇeti
mÅ«rcchito gadayÄ hataḥ

 etat - this; viditvÄ - knowing; tu - indeed; bhavÄn - You; mayÄ - by me; apovÄhitaḥ - removed; raṇÄt - from the battlefield; upasṛṣṭaḥ - hurt; pareṇa - by the enemy; iti - thus thinking; mÅ«rcchitaḥ - unconscious; gadayÄ - by his club; hataḥ - struck.

With this rule in mind, I removed You from the battlefield, since You had been struck unconscious by Your enemy’s club and I thought You were seriously injured.
