ekadÄ tu sabhÄ-madhya
Ästhito munibhir vá¹›taḥ
brÄhmaṇaiḥ ká¹£atriyair vaiÅ›yair
bhrÄtá¹›bhiÅ› ca yudhiṣṭhiraḥ
ÄcÄryaiḥ kula-vá¹›ddhaiÅ› ca
jñÄti-sambandhi-bÄndhavaiḥ
śṛṇvatÄm eva caiteá¹£Äm

 Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; ekadÄ - once; tu - and; sabhÄ - of the royal assembly; madhye - in the midst; Ästhitaḥ - seated; munibhiḥ - by sages; vá¹›taḥ - surrounded; brÄhmaṇaiḥ ká¹£atriyaiḥ vaiÅ›yaiḥ - by brÄhmaṇas, ká¹£atriyas and vaiÅ›yas; bhrÄtá¹›bhiḥ - by his brothers; ca - and; yudhiṣṭhiraḥ - King Yudhiṣṭhira; ÄcÄryaiḥ - by his spiritual masters; kula - of the family; vá¹›ddhaiḥ - by the elders; ca - also; jñÄti - by blood relatives; sambandhi - in-laws; bÄndhavaiḥ - and friends; Å›á¹›á¹‡vatÄm - as they listened; eva - indeed; ca - and; eteá¹£Äm - all of them; ÄbhÄá¹£ya - addressing (Lord Kṛṣṇa); idam - this; uvÄca ha - he said.

Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said: One day, as King Yudhiṣṭhira sat in the royal assembly surrounded by eminent sages, brÄhmaṇas, ká¹£atriyas and vaiÅ›yas, and also by his brothers, spiritual masters, family elders, blood relations, in-laws and friends, he addressed Lord Kṛṣṇa as everyone listened.
