 tatra - there; Ähuḥ - spoke; brÄhmaṇÄḥ - brÄhmaṇas; kecit - some; ÄsÄ«nÄḥ - seated; brahma - in the Vedas; vÄdinaḥ - fluent; pÅ«rveá¹£Äm - of those of the past; puṇya - pious; yaÅ›asÄm - whose fame; rÄjñÄm - of kings; ca - and; Äkathayan - they recounted; kathÄḥ - stories.
