ÄÅ›ramÄn ṛṣi-mukhyÄnÄá¹
ká¹›tvÄ bhagna-vanaspatÄ«n
adūṣayac chakṛn-mūtrair
agnÄ«n vaitÄnikÄn khalaḥ

 ÄÅ›ramÄn - the spiritual communities; á¹›á¹£i - of sages; mukhyÄnÄm - exalted; ká¹›tva - making; bhagna - broken; vanaspatÄ«n - whose trees; adÅ«á¹£ayat - he contaminated; Å›aká¹›t - with stool; mÅ«traiḥ - and urine; agnÄ«n - the fires; vaitÄnikÄn - sacrificial; khalaḥ - wicked.

The wicked ape tore down the trees in the hermitages of exalted sages and contaminated their sacrificial fires with his feces and urine.
