sva-dattÄá¹ para-dattÄá¹ vÄ
brahma-vṛttiṠharec ca yaḥ
á¹£aṣṭi-vará¹£a-sahasrÄṇi
viṣṭhÄyÄá¹ jÄyate ká¹›miḥ

 sva - by himself; dattÄm - given; para - by another; dattÄm - given;  - or; brahma-vá¹›ttim - a brÄhmaṇa's property; haret - steals; ca - and; yaḥ - who; á¹£aṣṭi - sixty; vará¹£a - of years; sahasrÄṇi - thousands; viṣṭhÄyÄm - in feces; jÄyate - is born; ká¹›miḥ - a worm.

Whether it be his own gift or someone else’s, a person who steals a brÄhmaṇa’s property will take birth as a worm in feces for sixty thousand years.
