 ÄsÄdya - reaching; devÄ« - of the goddess; sadanam - the residence; dhauta - washing; pÄda - her feet; kara - and hands; ambujÄ - lotuslike; upaspṛśya - sipping water for purification; Å›uciḥ - sanctified; Å›ÄntÄ - peaceful; praviveÅ›a - she entered; ambikÄ-antikam - the presence of AmbikÄ.

Upon reaching the goddess’s temple, Rukmiṇī first washed her lotus feet and hands and then sipped water for purification. Thus sanctified and peaceful, she came into the presence of mother AmbikÄ.
