vidarbha-pura-vāsinaḼ
āgatya netrāùjalibhiḼ
papus tan-mukha-paṅkajam

 kṛṣṇam - Lord Kṛṣṇa; Ägatam - come; Äkarṇya - hearing; vidarbha-pura - of the capital city of Vidarbha; vāsinaḼ - the residents; Ägatya - coming; netra - of their eyes; aĂąjalibhiḼ - with the cupped palms; papuḼ - they drank; tat - His; mukha - face; paṅkajam - lotus.


Text

When the residents of Vidarbha-pura heard that Lord Kṛṣṇa had come, they all went to see Him. With the cupped palms of their eyes they drank the honey of His lotus face.
