varÄn vṛṇīṣva rÄjará¹£e
sarvÄn kÄmÄn dadÄmi te
mÄá¹ prasanno janaḥ kaÅ›cin
na bhūyo 'rhati śocitum
varÄn - benedictions; vṛṇīṣva - just choose; rÄja-ṛṣe - O saintly King; sarvÄn - all; kÄmÄn - desirable things; dadÄmi - I give; te - to you; mÄm - Me; prasannaḥ - having satisfied; janaḥ - person; kaÅ›cit - any; na bhÅ«yaḥ - never again; arhati - needs; Å›ocitum - to lament.
Now choose some benedictions from Me, O saintly King. I will fulfill all your desires. One who has satisfied Me need never again lament.
The ÄcÄryas explain that we lament when we feel incomplete, when we have lost something or when we fail to achieve something desirable. One who has satisfied Kṛṣṇa and thus attained the Lord’s mercy will never be troubled in these ways. Lord Kṛṣṇa is the reservoir of all pleasure, and He enjoys sharing His spiritual bliss with all living beings. We need only cooperate with the Supreme Lord.
