 dhenÅ«nÄm - of milk-giving cows; niyute - two million; prÄdÄt - gave in charity; viprebhyaḥ - unto the brÄhmaṇas; samalaá¹…ká¹›te - completely decorated; tila-adrÄ«n - hills of grain; sapta - seven; ratna-ogha-Å›Äta-kaumbha-ambara-Ävá¹›tÄn - covered with jewels and cloth embroidered with gold.

Nanda MahÄrÄja gave two million cows, completely decorated with cloth and jewels, in charity to the brÄhmaṇas. He also gave them seven hills of grain, covered with jewels and with cloth decorated with golden embroidery.
