tatas tÄḥ kṛṣṇa-sandeÅ›air
vyapeta-viraha-jvarÄḥ
uddhavaá¹ pÅ«jayÄá¹ cakrur
jñÄtvÄtmÄnam adhoká¹£ajam
Å›rÄ«-Å›ukaḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« said; tataḥ - then; tÄḥ - they; kṛṣṇa-sandeÅ›aiḥ - by the messages from Kṛṣṇa; vyapeta - removed; viraha - of their separation; jvarÄḥ - the fever; uddhavam - Uddhava; pÅ«jayÄm cakruḥ - worshiped; jñÄtvÄ - recognizing him; ÄtmÄnam - Himself; adhoká¹£ajam - as the Supreme Lord.
Åšukadeva GosvÄmÄ« continued: Lord Kṛṣṇa’s messages having relieved their fever of separation, the gopÄ«s then worshiped Uddhava, recognizing him as nondifferent from their Lord, Kṛṣṇa.
ÅšrÄ«la ÅšrÄ«dhara SvÄmÄ« states that the words jñatvÄtmÄnam adhoká¹£ajam also indicate that the gopÄ«s recognize Lord Kṛṣṇa to be the very soul of their lives and thus spiritually one with them.
