nato 'smy ahaá¹ tvÄkhila-hetu-hetuá¹
nÄrÄyaṇaá¹ pÅ«ruá¹£am Ädyam avyayam
yan-nÄbhi-jÄtÄd aravinda-koá¹£Äd
brahmÄvirÄsÄ«d yata eá¹£a lokaḥ

 Å›rÄ«-akrÅ«raḥ uvÄca - ÅšrÄ« AkrÅ«ra said; nataḥ - bowed down; asmi - am; aham - I; tvÄ - to You; akhila - of all; hetu - causes; hetum - the cause; nÄrÄyaṇam - Lord NÄrÄyaṇa; pÅ«ruá¹£am - the Supreme Person; Ädyam - original; avyayam - inexhaustible; yat - from whose; nÄbhi - navel; jÄtÄt - which was generated; aravinda - of a lotus plant; koá¹£Ät - from the whorl; brahmÄ - BrahmÄ; avirÄsÄ«t - appeared; yataḥ - from whom; eá¹£aḥ - this; lokaḥ - world.

ÅšrÄ« AkrÅ«ra said: I bow down to You, the cause of all causes, the original and inexhaustible Supreme Person, NÄrÄyaṇa. From the whorl of the lotus born from Your navel, BrahmÄ appeared, and by his agency this universe has come into being.
