kiá¹ mayÄ hatayÄ manda
jÄtaḥ khalu tavÄnta-ká¹›t
yatra kva vÄ pÅ«rva-Å›atrur
mÄ hiá¹sīḥ ká¹›paṇÄn vá¹›thÄ

 kim - what is the use; mayÄ - me; hatayÄ - in killing; manda - O you fool; jÄtaḥ - has already been born; khalu - indeed; tava anta-ká¹›t - who will kill you; yatra kva vÄ - somewhere else; pÅ«rva-Å›atruḥ - your former enemy;  - do not; hiá¹sīḥ - kill; ká¹›paṇÄn - other poor children; vá¹›thÄ - unnecessarily.

O Kaá¹sa, you fool, what will be the use of killing me? The Supreme Personality of Godhead, who has been your enemy from the very beginning and who will certainly kill you, has already taken His birth somewhere else. Therefore, do not unnecessarily kill other children.
