 papraccha - asked; sat-ká¹›tam - who had been honored; nandaḥ - Nanda MahÄrÄja; katham - how; stha - you are living; niranugrahe - the merciless; kaá¹se - Kaá¹sa; jÄ«vati - while he is alive; dÄÅ›Ärha - O descendant of DaÅ›Ärha; sauna - an animal slaughterer; pÄlÄḥ - whose keeper; iva - just like; avayaḥ - sheep.
