iti go-gokula-patiá¹
govindam abhiṣicya saḥ
anujñÄto yayau Å›akro
vá¹›to devÄdibhir divam
iti - thus; go - of the cows; go-kula - and of the community of cowherds; patim - the master; govindam - Lord Kṛṣṇa; abhiá¹£icya - bathing; saḥ - he, Indra; anujñÄtaḥ - given permission; yayau - went; Å›akraḥ - King Indra; vá¹›taḥ - surrounded; deva-Ädibhiḥ - by the demigods and others; divam - to heaven.
After he had ceremonially bathed Lord Govinda, who is the master of the cows and the cowherd community, King Indra took the Lord’s permission and, surrounded by the demigods and other higher beings, returned to his heavenly abode.
