nanda-gopa-sutaá¹ priyam
jÄnÄ«mo 'á¹…ga vraja-Å›lÄghyaá¹
dehi vÄsÄá¹si vepitÄḥ

  - do not; anayam - injustice; bhoḥ - our dear Kṛṣṇa; ká¹›thÄḥ - do; tvÄm - You; tu - on the other hand; nanda-gopa - of MahÄrÄja Nanda; sutam - the son; priyam - loved; jÄnÄ«maḥ - we know; aá¹…ga - O dear one; vraja-Å›lÄghyam - renowned throughout Vraja; dehi - please give; vÄsÄá¹si - our garments; vepitÄḥ - (to us) who are shivering.

[The gopīs said:] Dear Kṛṣṇa, don’t be unfair! We know that You are the respectable son of Nanda and that You are honored by everyone in Vraja. You are also very dear to us. Please give us back our clothes. We are shivering in the cold water.
