dṛṣṭvÄrbhakÄn kṛṣṇa-mukhÄn aghÄsuraḥ
kaá¹sÄnuÅ›iṣṭaḥ sa bakÄ«-bakÄnujaḥ
ayaá¹ tu me sodara-nÄÅ›a-ká¹›t tayor
dvayor mamainaá¹ sa-balaá¹ haniá¹£ye

 dṛṣṭvÄ - after seeing; arbhakÄn - all the cowherd boys; kṛṣṇa-mukhÄn - headed by Kṛṣṇa; aghÄsuraḥ - the demon by the name AghÄsura; kaá¹sa-anuÅ›iṣṭaḥ - sent by Kaá¹sa; saḥ - he (AghÄsura); bakÄ«-baka-anujaḥ - the younger brother of PÅ«tanÄ and BakÄsura; ayam - this Kṛṣṇa; tu - indeed; me - my; sodara-nÄÅ›a-ká¹›t - the killer of my brother and sister; tayoḥ - for my brother and sister; dvayoḥ - for those two; mama - my; enam - Kṛṣṇa; sa-balam - along with His assistants, the cowherd boys; haniá¹£ye - I shall kill.

AghÄsura, who had been sent by Kaá¹sa, was the younger brother of PÅ«tanÄ and BakÄsura. Therefore when he came and saw Kṛṣṇa at the head of all the cowherd boys, he thought, “This Kṛṣṇa has killed my sister and brother, PÅ«tanÄ and BakÄsura. Therefore, in order to please them both, I shall kill this Kṛṣṇa, along with His assistants, the other cowherd boys.â€
