'Å›uddha-prema' vraja-devÄ«ra — kÄma-gandha-hÄ«na
'kṛṣṇa-sukha-tÄtparya', — ei tÄra cihna

 Å›uddha-prema - unalloyed love; vraja-devÄ«ra - of the gopÄ«s or ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī; kÄma-gandha-hÄ«na - without a scent of material lust; kṛṣṇa - of Kṛṣṇa; sukha - happiness; tÄtparya - the purpose; ei - this; tÄra - of that; cihna - the symptom.

“The unalloyed love of the gopÄ«s and ÅšrÄ«matÄ« RÄdhÄrÄṇī is without any trace of material lust. The criterion of such transcendental love is that its only purpose is to satisfy Kṛṣṇa.
