Å›rÄ«-caitanya-lÄ«lÄ ei — amá¹›tera sindhu
trijagat bhÄsÄite pÄre yÄra eka bindu
Å›rÄ«-caitanya-lÄ«lÄ - transcendental activities of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; ei - these; amá¹›tera sindhu - the ocean of nectar; tri-jagat - the three worlds; bhÄsÄite - to inundate; pÄre - is able; yÄra - of which; eka bindu - one drop.
The activities of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu are just like an ocean of nectar. Even a drop of this ocean can inundate all the three worlds.
To inundate the three worlds with nectar is the purpose of the pastimes of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu. How this could be possible was exhibited by ÅšrÄ«la RaghunÄtha dÄsa GosvÄmÄ« and later by ṬhÄkura Narottama dÄsa and ÅšyÄmÄnanda GosvÄmÄ«, who all represented the mercy of ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu. Now that same mercy is overflooding the entire world through the Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement. The present Kṛṣṇa consciousness movement is nondifferent from the pastimes performed by ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu when He was personally present, for the same principles are being followed and the same actions performed without fail.
