vrajÄtula-kulÄá¹…ganetara-rasÄli-tṛṣṇÄ-hara-
pradÄ«vyad-adharÄmá¹›taḥ suká¹›ti-labhya-phelÄ-lavaḥ
sudhÄ-jid-ahivallikÄ-sudala-vīṭikÄ-carvitaḥ
sa me madana-mohanaḥ sakhi tanoti jihvÄ-spá¹›hÄm

 vraja - of Vá¹›ndÄvana; atula - incomparable; kula-aá¹…ganÄ - of the gopÄ«s; itara - other; rasa-Äli - for tastes or mellows; tá¹›á¹£á¹‡Ä - desire; hara - vanquishing; pradÄ«vyat - all-surpassing; adhara-amá¹›taḥ - the nectar emanating from whose lips; suká¹›ti - after many pious activities; labhya - obtainable; phelÄ - of the nectar of whose lips; lavaḥ - a small portion; sudhÄ-jit - conquering the nectar; ahi-vallikÄ - of the betel plant; su-dala - made from selected leaves; vīṭikÄ - pan; carvitaḥ - chewing; saḥ - He; me - My; madana-mohanaḥ - Madana-mohana; sakhi - My dear friend; tanoti - increases; jihvÄ - of the tongue; spá¹›hÄm - desire.

“ ‘My dear friend, the all-surpassing nectar from the lips of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, can be obtained only after many, many pious activities. For the beautiful gopÄ«s of Vá¹›ndÄvana, that nectar vanquishes the desire for all other tastes. Madana-mohana always chews pan that surpasses the nectar of heaven. He is certainly increasing the desires of My tongue.’ â€
