vÄrÄṇasÄ« paryanta - up to VÄrÄṇasÄ«; svacchande - without disturbance; yÄibÄ pathe - you can go on the path; Äge - after that; sÄvadhÄne - with great care; yÄibÄ - you should go; ká¹£atriya-Ädi-sÄthe - with the ká¹£atriyas.
“You may go as far as VÄrÄṇasÄ« without encountering disturbances, but beyond VÄrÄṇasÄ« you should be very careful to travel on the path in the company of the ká¹£atriyas.
In those days the path from VÄrÄṇasÄ« to Vá¹›ndÄvana was infested with robbers, and therefore there were ká¹£atriyas to protect travelers.
