 nava - nine; yogÄ«-Ä«Å›vara - great saintly yogÄ«s; janma haite - from the very birth; sÄdhaka - practicers; jñÄnÄ« - well versed in transcendental knowledge; vidhi - Lord BrahmÄ; Å›iva - Lord Åšiva; nÄrada - the great sage NÄrada; mukhe - in their mouths; kṛṣṇa-guṇa Å›uni' - hearing the transcendental qualities of Kṛṣṇa.

“From their very births, the nine great mystic yogÄ«s [Yogendras] were impersonal philosophers of the Absolute Truth. But because they heard about Lord Kṛṣṇa’s qualities from Lord BrahmÄ, Lord Åšiva and the great sage NÄrada, they also became Kṛṣṇa’s devotees.
