yaḥ Å›ÄstrÄdiá¹£v anipuṇaḥ
Å›raddhÄvÄn sa tu madhyamaḥ

 yaḥ - anyone who; Å›Ästra-Ädiá¹£u - in the revealed scriptures; anipuṇaḥ - not very expert; Å›raddhÄvÄn - full of faith; saḥ - he; tu - certainly; madhyamaḥ - second-class or middle-class devotee.
