tÄra eka-deÅ›e vaikuṇá¹hÄjÄṇá¸a-gaṇa bhÄse
á¹£ola-kroÅ›a - measuring sixteen kroÅ›as (thirty-two miles); vá¹›ndÄvana - Vá¹›ndÄvana-dhÄma; Å›Ästrera prakÄÅ›e - according to the revelation of revealed scripture; tÄra - of Vá¹›ndÄvana; eka-deÅ›e - in one corner; vaikuṇá¹ha - all the Vaikuṇá¹ha planets; ajÄṇá¸a-gaṇa - the innumerable universes; bhÄse - are situated.
In Vraja, the land is divided into various vanas, or forests. The forests total twelve, and their extension is estimated to be eighty-four kroÅ›as. Of these, the special forest known as Vá¹›ndÄvana is located from the present municipal city of Vá¹›ndÄvana to the village called Nanda-grÄma. This distance is sixteen kroÅ›as (thirty-two miles).
