mauly-uttamair dhá¹›tam upÄsita-tÄ«rtha-tÄ«rtham
brahmÄ bhavo 'ham api yasya kalÄḥ kalÄyÄḥ

yasya - whose; aá¹…ghri-paá¹…kaja - lotuslike feet; rajaḥ - the dust; akhila-loka - of the universal planetary systems; pÄlaiḥ - by the masters; mauli-uttamaiḥ - with valuable turbans on their heads; dhá¹›tam - accepted; upÄsita - worshiped; tÄ«rtha-tÄ«rtham - the sanctifier of the holy places; brahmÄ - Lord BrahmÄ; bhavaḥ - Lord Åšiva; aham api - even I; yasya - of whom; kalÄḥ - portions; kalÄyÄḥ - of a plenary portion; Å›rīḥ - the goddess of fortune; ca - and; udvahema - we carry; ciram - eternally; asya - of Him; ná¹›pa-Äsanam - the throne of a king; kva - where.
This is a quotation from ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam (10.68.37). When the Kauravas flattered Baladeva so that He would become their ally and spoke ill of ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa, Lord Baladeva became angry and spoke this verse.
