 citram - wonderful; bata - oh; etat - this; ekena - with one; vapuá¹£Ä - form; yugapat - simultaneously; pá¹›thak - separately; gá¹›heá¹£u - in the houses; dvi-aṣṭa-sÄhasram - sixteen thousand; striyaḥ - all the queens; ekaḥ - the one ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa; udÄvahat - married.

“ ‘It is astounding that Lord ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa, who is one without a second, expanded Himself in sixteen thousand similar forms to marry sixteen thousand queens in their respective homes.’
