uá¹­hila bhÄva-cÄpala, mana ha-ila cañcala,
bhÄvera gati bujhana nÄ yÄya
adarÅ›ane poá¸e mana, kemane pÄba daraÅ›ana,
kṛṣṇa-á¹­hÄñi puchena upÄya

 uá¹­hila - arose; bhÄva-cÄpala - restlessness of ecstatic emotion; mana - mind; ha-ila - became; cañcala - agitated; bhÄvera - of ecstatic emotion; gati - the course; bujhana - understanding; nÄ yÄya - not possible; adarÅ›ane - without seeing; poá¸e - burns; mana - the mind; kemane - how; pÄba - I shall get; daraÅ›ana - audience; kṛṣṇa-á¹­hÄñi - from Kṛṣṇa; puchena - inquires; upÄya - the means.


Text

In this way, the Lord’s restlessness was awakened by ecstatic feelings, and His mind became agitated. No one could understand what course such ecstasy would take. Because Lord Caitanya could not meet the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Kṛṣṇa, His mind burned. He began to ask Kṛṣṇa about the means by which He could reach Him.
