 kṛṣṇa - Lord Kṛṣṇa; ká¹›pÄ-pÄrÄvÄra - an ocean of mercy; kabhu - sometimes; karibena - will make; aá¹…gÄ«kÄra - acceptance; sakhi - My dear friend; tora - your; e - these; vyartha - untruthful; vacana - complimentary words; jÄ«vera - of the living entity; jÄ«vana - life; cañcala - flickering; yena - like; padma-patrera - of the leaf of the lotus flower; jala - the water; tata - so many; dina - days; jÄ«ve - lives; kon - what; jana - person.

“I say, ‘My dear friends, you are asking Me to be patient, saying that Kṛṣṇa is an ocean of mercy and that some time in the future He will accept Me. However, I must say that this will not console Me. A living entity’s life is very flickering. It is like water on the leaf of a lotus flower. Who will live long enough to expect Kṛṣṇa’s mercy?
