vidadhe kṛṣṇa-jalpinaḥ

 gacchan - going; vá¹›ndÄvanam - to Vá¹›ndÄvana-dhÄma; gauraḥ - ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu; vyÄghra - tigers; ibha - elephants; eṇa - deer; khagÄn - and birds; vane - in the forest; prema-unmattÄn - maddened by ecstatic love; saha - with; unná¹›tyÄn - dancing; vidadhe - made; kṛṣṇa - Lord Kṛṣṇa's name; jalpinaḥ - chanting.

On His way to Vá¹›ndÄvana, Lord ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu passed through the forest of JhÄrikhaṇá¸a and made all the tigers, elephants, deer and birds chant the Hare Kṛṣṇa mahÄ-mantra and dance. Thus all these animals were overwhelmed by ecstatic love.
