dekhiyā ta' chadma kaila yena dekhe nāñi
mukundere puche, — kāhāṅ bhāratī-gosāñi

 dekhiyā - seeing; ta' - certainly; chadma kaila - pretended; yena - as if; dekhe - sees; nāñi - not; mukundere puche - inquired from Mukunda; kāhāṅ - where; bhāratī-gosāñi - Brahmānanda Bhāratī, my spiritual master.

Seeing Brahmānanda Bhāratī wearing the deerskin, Caitanya Mahāprabhu pretended not to see him. Instead, He asked Mukunda Datta, “Where is Brahmānanda Bhāratī, My spiritual master?”
