Purport

This Kṣīra-curÄ« GopÄ«nÄtha is situated in RemuṇÄ, about four miles away from the BÄleÅ›vara (Balasore) station on the Northeastern Railway, formerly known as the Bengal MÄyÄpur Railway. This station is situated a few miles away from the famous Kharagpur junction station. Some time ago the charge of the temple was given to ÅšyÄmasundara AdhikÄrÄ« from GopÄ«vallabhapura, which lies on the border of the district of MedinÄ«pura. ÅšyÄmasundara AdhikÄrÄ« was a descendant of RasikÄnanda MurÄri, the chief disciple of ÅšyÄmÄnanda GosvÄmÄ«.

A few miles before the JagannÄtha PurÄ« station is a small station called SÄká¹£i-gopÄla. Near this station is a village named SatyavÄdÄ«, where the temple of SÄká¹£i-gopÄla is situated.
