daive Äsi' prabhu yabe Å«rdhvete cÄhilÄ
cÄle goá¹…jÄ tÄla-patre sei Å›loka pÄilÄ

 daive - accidentally; Äsi' - coming there; prabhu - the Lord; yabe - when; Å«rdhvete - on the roof; cÄhilÄ - He looked; cÄle - in the roof; goá¹…jÄ - pushed; tÄla-patre - the palm leaf; sei - that; Å›loka - verse; pÄilÄ - got.

When ÅšrÄ« Caitanya MahÄprabhu went to the residence of ÅšrÄ«la RÅ«pa GosvÄmÄ«, He accidentally saw the palm leaf on the roof, and thus He read the verse composed by him.
