rÄmadÄse dekhÄiyÄ duḥkha khaṇá¸Äila

 sei - that; purÄtana - old; patra - page; Ägraha - with great enthusiasm; kari' - doing; nila - took; rÄma-dÄse - to the brÄhmaṇa RÄmadÄsa; dekhÄiyÄ - showing; duḥkha - unhappiness; khaṇá¸Äila - mitigated.

Indeed, Lord Caitanya MahÄprabhu eagerly tore this page from the KÅ«rma PurÄṇa, although the book was very old, and He later showed it to RÄmadÄsa Vipra, whose unhappiness was mitigated.
