madhya-mÅ«la paramÄnanda purÄ« mahÄ-dhÄ«ra
aṣṭa dike aṣṭa mūla vṛkṣa kaila sthira

 madhya-mÅ«la - the middle root; paramÄnanda purÄ« - ParamÄnanda PurÄ«; mahÄ-dhÄ«ra - most sober; aṣṭa dike - in the eight directions; aṣṭa mÅ«la - eight roots; vá¹›ká¹£a - the tree; kaila sthira - fixed.

With the sober and grave ParamÄnanda PurÄ« as the central root and the other eight roots in the eight directions, the tree of Caitanya MahÄprabhu stood firmly.
