na pÄraye 'haá¹ niravadya-saá¹yujÄá¹
sva-sÄdhu-ká¹›tyaá¹ vibudhÄyuá¹£Äpi vaḥ
yÄ mÄbhajan durjaya-geha-śṛṅkhalÄḥ
saá¹vṛścya tad vaḥ pratiyÄtu sÄdhunÄ
na - not; pÄraye - am able to make; aham - I; niravadya-saá¹yujÄm - to those who are completely free from deceit; sva-sÄdhu-ká¹›tyam - proper compensation; vibudha-Äyuá¹£Ä - with a lifetime as long as that of the demigods; api - although; vaḥ - to you; yÄḥ - who; mÄ - Me; abhajan - have worshiped; durjaya-geha-śṛṅkhalÄḥ - the chains of household life, which are difficult to overcome; saá¹vṛścya - cutting; tat - that; vaḥ - of you; pratiyÄtu - let it be returned; sÄdhunÄ - by the good activity itself.
This verse from ÅšrÄ«mad-BhÄgavatam (10.32.22) was spoken by ÅšrÄ« Kṛṣṇa Himself when He returned to the gopÄ«s upon hearing their songs of separation.
